Capture the Cuyahoga

I'm attempting to capture the Cuyahoga. This scene grabbed me last year as I drove over the bridge. I knew I had to paint it when the morning light hits beyond the bend. I've made two attempts so far, sitting on a hummock of grass right next to the river. I plan to finish this, the second painting, next Thursday at CVAC.

I need to make notes and stick to those and not get caught up in the photos!
